Fundraising: Important Documents & Forms
Why Do We Fundraise?

Tuition covers the cost of teacher’s salaries and taxes most years. As a self-funded and parent-run 501(c)3 non-profit organization, it’s our job to raise money for the remainder of the cost to run our school and educate our children, while keeping tuition affordable. When all classes are full, we have a deficit of approximately $50,000 each year. Fundraising dollars pay for everything from classroom supplies to major building expenses.

Fundraising is not only a necessity for the day-to-day operation and long term care of Kids’ Co-op, it is also a way for our families to get to know each other and involve the greater Las Vegas community in our mission. Co-op kids love seeing their teachers waiting tables at the annual Pancake Breakfast. Families learn to stay healthy together at the Learning is Child’s Play Race. Parents get a night out to relax and bid on exciting items at the annual spring auction. Daily fundraising through the Smith's program or Amazon Smile are easy to fit into family life, while making money for the school at the same time. And as a Friends of Kids’ Co-Op Sponsor, local businesses can support our school and network with our current membership and 30+ years’ worth of alumni families.
